School Bus Extras Transition Plan: Letter from Transit Windsor
Looking for your new route information?
Updated routes, bus stops, route names, and colour scheme will officially launch on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Please note: This means that the updates will not be available in online trip planners or transit apps until the launch date on August 31, 2025. In the meantime, you can explore all new routes, including transfer options and service frequencies, using the interactive map.
Beginning in September 2025, secondary school students currently using School Extras to travel to Holy Names Catholic High School, St. Joseph's Catholic High School, Riverside Secondary School and Vincent Massey Secondary School will transition to regular public transit. To support a smooth start to the school year, real-time and interactive bus information will be available starting September 1, 2025, through the following Transit Apps and online tools (see Schedules and Maps for links to access the apps):

To help you feel confident using the regular public transit system, Transit Windsor staff will be visiting Holy Names Catholic High School, St. Joseph's Catholic High School, Riverside Secondary School and Vincent Massey Secondary School during the grade 9 orientations to:
- Answer your questions,
- Show you how to use trip planning tools, and
- Help you get comfortable and confident.
