Fares, Tickets, Passes

Transit Windsor is eliminating paper tickets as acceptable fare media:

  • This transition reflects a broader move towards modernizing public transportation, enhancing efficiency, and reducing environmental impact. Commuters will need to adapt by using smart cards, which promises to streamline the boarding process. This shift not only aligns with global sustainability goals by minimizing paper waste but also offers enhanced security and tracking capabilities, ensuring a more seamless travel experience.
  • As the deadline approaches, Transit Windsor encourages you to bring in your paper tickets in exchange for a smart ride card as soon as possible.

Transit Windsor (TW) offers a variety of fare payment methods for your convenience. Please check below to find the option that's right for you.
