The Windsor Essex Community Safety & Well-Being Plan has partnered with the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) through their Windsor Essex Community Opioid Substance Strategy (WECOSS), the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), and the Windsor Police Service (WPS) to make Windsor Essex a safer place for everyone to live, work, and visit.

Through the Substance Supports in Neighbourhoods Accessed through Police Partnerships (SSNAPP) initiative, various activities have been implemented, including the development of individualized neighbourhood safety plans, a SSNAPP video series, a public education campaign, and the organization of community engagement events and training workshops.
