Tree Care
Trees are a big part of our urban landscape. For urban residents, it is important to determine if the tree is owned by the municipality or if it is a privately owned tree. Within the City of Windsor, most trees within 33 feet of the centre of the roadway are owned by the City of Windsor, and maintenance remains the responsibility of the City. The City is responsible for ensuring that the right-of-way is safe.
There are certain steps that must be taken to ensure all our trees have a long, healthy lifespan.
Follow the links in the menu to learn more about basic care, tree trimming and water sprout branches.
