Goals of the 2017 Environmental Master Plan

• Goal A: Improve Our Air Quality: Reduce emissions, improve air quality monitoring, and support cleaner transportation and energy choices.
• Goal B: Improve Water Quality: Protect rivers, waterways, groundwater, and stormwater systems through sustainable management practices.
• Goal C: Responsible Land Use: Support sustainable development while protecting natural heritage features and environmental resources.
• Goal D: Increase Resource Efficiency: Reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, and promote responsible resource consumption across municipal operations.
