Work to Begin on Wilson Park Improvements

Published

The City of Windsor Parks Department is pleased to announce that improvements are coming to Wilson Park (1551 Wyandotte Street West) as part of the Reimagined Adie Knox Herman Recreation Complex project. Work includes new parking area/driveway extensions, drainage improvements, new asphalt pathways, lighting infrastructure and more.

The drainage improvements in the park space are being carried out in part with funding from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Green Municipal Fund and the Government of Canada.

Work gets underway on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, and is scheduled to be complete by the end of May 2026, weather permitting.

During this time, the park will be closed to the public, and construction fencing will be in place.
