Updated City of Windsor Service Adjustments Due to Wildfire Smoke

Based on Environment Canada’s local forecast for the weekend, the City of Windsor has extended adjustments to services due to air quality conditions caused by wildfire smoke from northern Ontario forest fires. The affected services are as follows:

• Outdoor pools are closed on Saturday, July 18, 2026, but will re-open on Sunday, July 19, 2026. 
• SUPIE Park programs are cancelled on Saturday, July 18, 2026, but will resume on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
• Peche Island tours are cancelled on Saturday, July 18, 2026, but will resume on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. 
• Sports fields will be open for use at the discretion of individual user groups beginning on Saturday, July 18, 2026, with limited field maintenance. Please contact your league or organization regarding games, practices, and cancellations.
• Adventure Bay Family Water Park and Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre Presented by WFCU Credit Union will be open effective Saturday, July 18, 2026.
