Temporary Disruption to 311 Service Request System

Published

The City of Windsor is advising residents of a temporary disruption to the 311 service request system. As a result, all channels for submitting service requests, including phone, mobile app, and 311 online, are currently unavailable.

Residents can still reach out to 311 for general information about municipal services, but services cannot be requested at this time, and due to the outage, some information may be unavailable.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties due to a global outage affecting Amazon Web Services (AWS). The outage has impacted multiple platforms worldwide, and has disrupted connectivity for many companies, including Motorola, the provider of the City’s 311 customer service request software.

We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we work with our partners to resolve the issue. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
