The City of Windsor is continuing to create new housing opportunities through the Housing Solutions Made for Windsor strategy with the release of six municipally owned residential lots at Kinsmen Norman Road Park.

This site marks the fourth municipally owned property prepared for redevelopment through the City’s ambitious housing initiative, supporting the creation of new homes while reinvesting in community amenities.

Located south of Kinsmen Norman Road Park, six fully serviced single-unit residential lots fronting Olive Road and Norman Road are available for purchase in an established low-profile residential neighbourhood. Each lot is listed at $200,000, with the lands zoned Residential District 1.2 (RD1.2) and ready for development.

The residential lots were created as part of the Kinsmen Norman Road Park Redevelopment Plan, which balances new housing opportunities with improvements to the remaining parkland.

Planned park amenity improvements include:

  • Shade structure and picnic tables
  • Multi-use trail (approximately 300 metres) with benches and solar lights
  • Basketball court
  • Soccer field
  • New community garden
  • New outdoor fitness area
  • Planting additional trees

Proceeds from the sale of the residential lots will help fund redevelopment and improvements to the park anticipated to begin late summer 2026.
