Optimist Park Trail Improvements

The City of Windsor Parks Department is pleased to report that improvements are coming soon to the trails at Optimist Park, 1075 Ypres Avenue.

Work gets underway shortly to pulverize and resurface approximately 1.2 kilometres of existing multi-use trails, including the widening of some sections.

Construction gets underway Monday, June 3, 2024, and is scheduled to be complete by mid July, weather permitting.

Optimist Park will remain open; however, the trail will be closed for approximately six weeks. Other amenities, such as the dog park, pavilion, baseball field and basketball courts, will remain open.
