High Winds Prompt Temporary Changes to City Recreation Facilities

Due to high winds affecting the Windsor area today, the City of Windsor is implementing the following temporary changes to ensure public safety:

Lanspeary Outdoor Rink rentals are being relocated to Adie Knox Herman Arena for today, including public skating from 4 to 6 p.m. Renters will be contacted directly with updated times and details.
Bright Lights Windsor is closed today. The event site will not be open to the public this evening.
City Hall Square Skating Rink is closed today. The rink will be re-assessed prior to reopening.

A reminder to the public that high winds can create unsafe conditions around outdoor facilities, trees, and temporary installations.
