The series features three distinct event experiences:

Quote:

"The Big Picnic was created to bring people together and celebrate everything that makes summer in Windsor special. That is the vision behind Experience Windsor. It is not simply about experiencing our city; it is about creating opportunities for families and friends to reconnect, neighbours to gather, and our community to enjoy meaningful experiences close to home. At a time when the cost of travel and entertainment continues to rise, we believe every resident should have access to exceptional summer experiences. That’s why our Experience Windsor events, from the big four Riverfront Summer Series offerings to the individual Neighbourhood Nights across city wards, are offered free of charge. Whether it is spending an afternoon on our beautiful waterfront; attending a neighbourhood gathering; or enjoying a free swim, skate, or movie, my hope is that folks discover new places, create lasting connections, and take pride in everything Windsor has to offer. Thanks to LiUNA!625 for their continued partnership and commitment to helping us create a summer filled with opportunities for residents to connect, celebrate, and Experience Windsor!"
- Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens
