Experience a Slice of Windsor This Weekend!

You are invited to celebrate one of Windsor's most iconic culinary traditions at the Windsor Pizza Festival, taking place Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at City Hall Square.

This free community event, part of the Experience Windsor initiative, will bring together some of the city’s best-known pizzerias, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy Windsor-style pizza while experiencing live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and community spirit in the heart of downtown Windsor.

Festival-goers can taste their way through the event with the Pizza Passport. Each participating pizzeria will offer a special $2 Passport slice, in addition to its regular menu items and prices.

Participating pizzerias include Antonino’s Original Pizza, Arcata Pizzeria, Armando’s Pizza, Capri Pizza, Naples Pizza, Original Guys Pizza Pies, Oven 360, Professor Zaaa’s Pizza, Sam’s Pizzeria & Cantina, Slices and Squares, and Spago.

Entertainment Schedule

  • 12 p.m. – Local Media Pizza Toss Competition
  • 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Chic Quattro
  • 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. – Ron Gudel Magic
  • 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Ultrasonik

The festival will also feature lawn games, face painting, and activities for children and families.

Visitors can participate in the Windsor Pizza Festival Passport contest for a chance to win an Ooni Karu 12 Multi-Fuel Outdoor Pizza Oven and accessories. Participants can collect stamps by purchasing slices from 5 participating vendors and submitting passports at the Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island tent. Admission and Parking

Admission to the festival is free. Complimentary parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at Lot 11, located on McDougall Street north of Wyandotte Street East.
