“Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island created the Best of Windsor-Essex Awards to celebrate some of the best things to see and do in Windsor and Essex County, recognizing that a local social media campaign, designed to ask what locals like to see and do, will inspire visitors to want to do the same. This milestone 10th edition of the awards is a testament to the over 103 thousand votes cast to recognize excellence in our community over the last nine years. Just by being a finalist, the City’s 23 nominations will be featured in marketing efforts all year long for visitors and locals alike to experience and explore. I applaud the City of Windsor on being profiled in so many of the award categories again this year.”
