Litter Pickup

Participate in the "Spring Rose City Clean Sweep Program".

  • An annual campaign to encourage individuals and community groups to help in the City of Windsor's spring cleanup efforts and to raise awareness regarding the impacts of littering. Show your community pride by helping to clean up your yard, street, neighbourhood or park. Call 311 to register.
  • Over 300 Litter Receptacles are strategically placed across the City in commercial areas for the disposal of your litter.
  • Each spring since 1989, Community Volunteer groups and school children get together to participate in the Province-wide Pitch-in Program, which helps clean up litter across the City.

  • You can register your participation in the Clean Sweep Program by visiting www.CityW.ca/CleanSweep or contacting 311. We will provide gloves and bags.
