What is the Windsor Regional Employment Network (WREN)?
Windsor Regional Employment Network (WREN) is the Service System Manager (SSM) for Employment Ontario in Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton. Led by the Corporation of the City of Windsor and their partners Workforce WindsorEssex, the WREN oversees and supports a wide range of employment programs and services for job seekers, employers and community partners.
How do we help the community?
A few examples of how our local employment network can assist are as follows:
Job Seekers
- Help job seekers find work, prepare a resume, prepare for an interview, and develop skills; and support their journey through their first year of a new job
- Offer government-funded programs
- Help with accessibility needs
Employers
- Help employers find workers, enhance hiring and onboarding processes, deliver skills training to staff, and retain employees
- Offer government-funded programs
