Meet-A-Machine 2025 a Resounding Success!

The 13th Annual Meet-A-Machine event, held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the WFCU Centre was once again a tremendous success, drawing thousands of families from across Windsor-Essex. With over 70 vehicles on display — including emergency response vehicles, construction equipment, buses, race cars, and more — children had the unique opportunity to climb aboard, explore, and learn directly from the professionals who operate them.

This free, family-friendly event continues to build on its reputation as a beloved Windsor tradition, blending hands-on fun with early literacy and learning opportunities. Children and parents alike were thrilled to make real-world connections between the machines on site and the stories they read at home — sparking curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.

The City of Windsor’s Children’s Services Department proudly hosted the event, which was supported by numerous community partners, City departments, and dedicated volunteers. With enthusiastic participation from local machine operators and a strong turnout from families, Meet-A-Machine 2025 delivered another unforgettable day of learning, laughter, and community spirit — a testament to the lasting impact this experience continues to have on Windsor’s youngest residents.
