Joint-Use Agreements and Park Programs
SUPIE Program

The SUPIE Program is a supervised park program for youth, ages 4 to 17, that runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. seven days a week during the summer (excluding the Civic Holiday). Back by popular demand, our program will begin this year on July 5, 2026, and run until August 29, 2026, in 10 parks across the City of Windsor.
The program is a no-cost, barrier-free program that brings recreation directly to the park. Participants may join or leave activities, or the park, at their own discretion. Staff supervision is provided only while participants are actively participating in SUPIE activities.
City of Windsor staff bring equipment and facilitate activities for youth-aged participants, including sports, active games, passive games, drama games, arts, crafts, and more. Participants should look for the blue SUPIE flag.
Registration
Registration is required by visiting www.ActiveWindsor.ca or by calling 519-255-1161. Registration opens Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.
Please note: Programming may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
What to Bring to the Park

Joint-Use Agreements
Thank you for joining us in our Joint-Use Agreement. The Corporation of the City of Windsor’s Recreation Department is proud to be partnered with the Greater Essex County District School Board.
This partnership allows recreation opportunities to be provided in neighbourhoods that do not have a City of Windsor community centre. We bring the programming to these locations for Windsor residents to enjoy.
