Before and After School Program

The City of Windsor's Department of Recreation & Culture offers Before and After School Programs for Kindergarten to Grade 8 throughout the school year from September to June.
Each of our before and after school programs is under the direction of program coordinators. These individuals have a passion for developing and implementing recreation programs for children and youth. In addition, each program staff is certified in Standard First Aid with CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) Level C; receives EpiPen training; and obtains specialized training in recreation, programming, safety and emergency procedures, group dynamics and positive behaviour management. Our leaders are energetic and dedicated to providing participants with a fun, safe and memorable experience.
Ontario's After School Program
The Ontario Government's Ministry of Sport provides funding to the Corporation of the City of Windsor to run after school programs at five of our locations. For more information about the program's goals, activities, funding and locations, please visit Ontario’s After School Program (Government of Ontario).
