Commemorative Brick Program

Emancipation Celebration Monument

The City of Windsor is offering commemorative bricks for purchase as part of the upcoming Emancipation Celebration Monument at Jackson Park, 125 Tecumseh Road East.

This program provides an opportunity to recognize individuals, families, or organizations through a permanent engraved brick incorporated into the Emancipation Celebration Monument at Jackson Park. Commemorative bricks may be purchased in memory of a loved one or to honour a person, group, or special occasion.

About the Program

Commemorative bricks will be installed within the hard surface area surrounding the monument as part of the overall site design. Each brick includes custom engraving and becomes a lasting part of this important public space. Only 300 bricks are available for residents to purchase. No additional bricks will be offered once they are sold.

Proceeds from the program will support further improvements to the Emancipation Celebration Monument.

Donation receipts will be mailed to the address provided.Commemorative brick example, with words, Honouring our past, celebrating freedom, building our future
