Lake Como Park
4500 Southwood Lakes Boulevard
Interestingly, this park was named after a lake in northern Italy. The park includes an array of play equipment, trails, planting, and a maintenance building. The Department of Parks and Recreation does not encourage use of the lake for recreation. The lake serves as a stormwater retention pond in this flood‑prone area. Pumps and waterfalls serve to ensure the water does not become stagnant.
