About The Facility
Our Mission

Our Vision
Make each day better than the one before!
Residents’ Bill of Rights
The bill of rights reminds everyone (residents, staff, family, friends and neighbours) that residents of long-term care homes are valued members of the community.
The Residents’ Bill of Rights includes rights afforded to all persons living in long-term care homes in Ontario. The Ontario Residents’ Bill of Rights is embedded in our provincial legislation, The Fixing Long-Term Care Act (FLTCA), 2021 and the accompanying Regulations (O. Reg. 246/22).

Our Amenities
Huron Lodge, a state-of-the-art long-term care facility, opened its doors on April 14, 2007 when 224 residents moved into their new home.
The building is divided into seven distinct resident home areas each with thirty-two residents. Each home area features private, semi-private and basic accommodations. All resident rooms are air conditioned and every room is accented with a memory box, displaying treasures familiar to the resident.
One resident home area is a secured home area, which allows the safe exploration of the area along with a secured outdoor garden. This home area is utilized for our residents who require the additional support to ensure their safety while still promoting independence.
Huron Lodge offers many other amenities, including a cafe and tuck shop where hot meals as well as snacks can be purchased, a craft room, a hairdressing salon, a chapel for our spiritual services, a resident laundry area and a resident library. Our large group programs are held in our auditorium along with our licensed cocktail bar. Additionally, Huron Lodge has an on-site dental facility, which eases any transportation concerns in booking off-site dental appointments.
