Earth Day Windsor-Essex

Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22 to promote environmental awareness and action. First observed in 1970, it has grown into a global movement recognized in over 193 countries. Whether it's planting trees, reducing waste, cleaning up local parks or learning about climate change, Earth Day is a powerful reminder that every action counts and that we all have a role in protecting the environment for future generations. 

Earth Day in Windsor-Essex is a vibrant, community-wide celebration that brings together residents, organizations and local leaders to promote environmental awareness and action. Held each spring on a Sunday close to Earth Day, this free, family-friendly event features interactive exhibits, live entertainment, educational activities and hands-on opportunities to learn about sustainability.
