Join the Museum Volunteer Group at 1 p.m. for our monthly speaker series. This month, in honour of our new travelling exhibition Bi-Giwen: Coming Home - Truth Telling from the Sixties Scoop, Museum Collections Assistant Melissa Phillips will be talking about the Sixties Scoop and the 150th anniversary of the Indian Act. 

Talk - Duff-Baby House Capital Improvements

Join us at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Mackenzie Hall for a presentation by the Ontario Heritage Trust that explores the recent exterior conservation and mechanical upgrades project at the Duff-Baby House (221 Mill Street). The presentation will examine the balance between preservation and performance, the realities of working with aging materials, and the decisions that shape how historic buildings endure. Perspectives from the project team, including the architect and contractor, will highlight both the technical challenges and the craft knowledge required to carry out this work.

Superhero (Lego) Scavenger Hunt

Superhero Lego friends are visiting the François Baby House. Can you find them and the artifacts they are discovering? There is a small prize for those adventurers who finish the hunt! Free event, open to the public.
