9th Concession Road and Future Collector Roads Environmental Assessment

The City of Windsor has initiated an environmental assessment (EA) for the planning and design of Ninth Concession Road and future collector roads C5, C6 and C7 as outlined in the Sandwich South Master Servicing Plan. The study will consider opportunities to upgrade and optimize the rights-of-way to achieve safe, efficient, comfortable and convenient travel for roadway users of all ages, abilities and modes within the study corridors for a 20-year study horizon. The study will build on the conclusions of the Sandwich South Master Servicing Plan and further evaluate and recommend solutions in consultation with the public, Indigenous communities, stakeholders, and agencies. At the conclusion of the study, the process will be documented in an environmental study report, prepared for public review.
