Calling All Young Artists for the 9th Annual Children’s Art Exhibition
The City of Windsor and the International Relations Committee are inviting local children between 6 and 13 years of age to participate in our 9th Annual Children’s Art Exhibition this fall.
The theme for this year’s exhibition is “Friendships: From Neighbourhoods to Nations.”
Drawings and paintings should be submitted no later than Monday, September 29, 2025.
This year, selected entries will be displayed at Devonshire Mall from October 6 to 13, 2025, followed by an exhibit at Art Windsor-Essex, alongside art created by children from some of our twin cities. A selection of Windsor artwork will also be displayed in the city hall buildings of some our twin cities, including Gunsan, South Korea; Changchun, China; Fujisawa, Japan; Mannheim, Germany; Lublin, Poland; and Saltillo, Mexico.
This wonderful initiative serves to strengthen Windsor’s relationship with its twin cities in a manner that celebrates the creativity of our young artists and highlights the similarities and differences between cities, thereby reinforcing bonds and promoting understanding across borders.
