Calling All Budding Young Artists

The City of Windsor and the International Relations Committee are inviting local children between 6 and 12 years of age to participate in our 8th Annual Children’s Art Exhibition taking place October 7 to 13, 2024. 

The theme for this year’s exhibition is “What I Love About My City.”

Drawings should be approximately 10 inches by 16 inches and must be received no later than Monday, September 30, 2024.

This year, selected entries will be displayed at Devonshire Mall along with art created by children from some of our twin cities. A selection of Windsor artwork will also be displayed in the city hall buildings of our twin cities. Cities participating include Gunsan, South Korea; Changchun, China; Fujisawa, Japan; Mannheim, Germany; and, Saltillo, Mexico. 

Such important and unique projects connect international communities and allow for discussion about each city’s similarities and differences. The goal is to strengthen the City of Windsor’s connections with our twin cities through the inspiration and artwork of our community’s many creative children.
