Applicant Requirements:
Privately Owned Land
- Proof of applicant's right to operate on the premises
- Map detailing the location of the Carnival or Circus on the property
- Certificate of approval for the sanitary facilities by the Health Unit - visit www.wechealthunit.org.
- Proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance (minimum $2,000,000)
- Where rides are provided, a copy of the licence issued by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (T.S.S.A.) to carry on business and a valid and current Ontario Amusement Device Permit for each ride also issued by the T.S.S.A.
City Owned Land
- Copy of the signed agreement with the Recreation Department
- Where rides are provided, a copy of the licence provided by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (T.S.S.A.) to carry on business and a valid and current Ontario Amusement Device Permit for each ride also issued by the T.S.S.A.
The Carnival/Circus licence does not renew.
