Windsor and Ohrid celebrated their 35-year twinning anniversary in 2016, which has been marked by a solid North Macedonian presence in Windsor, and which has been facilitated by community relations in churches and social halls. Also, today Macedonian is one of the top four languages that residents of the Lakeshore area in Windsor identify as their mother tongue.
