Financial Accounting & Corporate Controls

Led by the Deputy Treasurer of Financial Accounting & Corporate Controls, this department is responsible to ensure that the municipality meets its legislative and operational requirements in terms of financial reporting, corporate accounts payable and accounts receivable, cash controls, debt management, commodity tax legislation, and payroll. The division is also responsible for working in conjunction with Information Technology to ensure that an appropriate supporting financial system is in place to service the financial needs of the corporation.
