Asset Planning

Led by the Senior Manager - Asset Planning, this department assists the corporation in managing their assets through the development of an asset management plan (AMP), which considers best practices in asset management and planning and meets the requirements of Ontario Regulation 588/17, as well as assessing future capital funding requirements needed to sustain or extend the life of city assets while delivering on council-approved service levels.

Asset Planning also leads the Corporate Grants program by providing guidance and in-house expertise to corporate departments in order to maximize funding that will support corporate projects, programs and asset activities.
