Minimum Qualifications (non-negotiable):

  • 2 or more years of experience in residential/commercial construction or a related field
  • Knowledge of building codes and experience with both interior renovations and exterior renovations
  • Reliable personal transportation (other forms of transportation, such as cabs or buses, are not accepted)
  • Must have proper attire for working in all outdoor conditions
  • Must have full G Class licence
  • Successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria
  • Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams

Preferred but negotiable:

  • Secondary School (preferred) 

Job Description:

As a general labourer, you'll support various residential construction projects through a range of duties, including the following:

  • Performing physical tasks on construction sites
  • Loading, unloading and transporting construction materials for delivery to job site
  • Operating and maintaining hand and power tools, punch press, and industrial machinery
  • Cleaning and preparing construction sites
  • Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Manufacturing and custom fabrication of aluminum components for production of fences, railings, and gate products
  • Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt
  • Mix, pour, drill, dig, and spread materials such as concrete for installation of fencing, railing and gates
  • Follow instructions to operate machines, hold or supply materials and tools, and load and unload items from machines
  • Ability to work occasional overtime and weekend hours as required
  • Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various installation projects.

Rate of Pay: $16.55 per hour
Expected Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Saturday, including overtime 
Work Language: English 
Work Location: Windsor, Ontario 
Starting Date: As soon as possible
